About Chris Clarke

Chris is a branding expert and creative director with over 20 years experience running agencies. He was Chief Creative Officer of Digitas LBi for ten years.

Chris believes purpose-led businesses can contribute positively to society and the environment and has helped brands like Samsung, Coke, Absolut, Nissan, Google and AstraZeneca produce meaningful award winning creative work. He was once voted one of the 50 most influential people in advertising by Campaign magazine and has given keynotes at numerous international events including Cannes Lions, music festival Bestival and at UNICEF.

As a founder member of Group Of Humans Chris has explored new ways of developing ideas for modern brands. Now focussing on his ethical branding consultancy Kookoovaya, Chris is bringing revolutionary “circular economy” business models to market with culturally connected storytelling. Together with his business partner, media expert Scott Holmes, Chris has developed Threshold Planning, a way of using data to find culturally compelling ideas for brands which outperform media spend.
